With the dreams I dream at night.
To some would bring such delight.
And yet to others a terrible fright.
These dreams I'd have under the moonlight.
In dreams of youth I'd dream of fun.
I'd dream of baseball hitting a home run.
I'd dream of love from a special someone.
I'd dream of the beach and the setting sun.
In my teens my dreams were so few.
Growing up was a hard thing to do.
Those dreams are now an old worn shoe.
In those dreams I often dreamt of you.
I'd dream of love and what joy it brings.
I'd dream of heaven as an angel sings.
I'd dream of romance and of wedding rings.
I'd dream of distant lands and things.
The dream would be of a romantic place.
I never saw you, never seen your face.
I'd dream you'd find me through time and space.
That's why these dreams are what I chase.
