Oh I see it's another Mother's Day.
Forgot it again! What can I say?
Seems like I do that every year.
So a poem is all you get this year.
Mom I love you so very much you know.
Although I admit at times it don't show.
Seems I don't visit as often as I should.
Or say the things I really wish I could.
It's wonderful to have a mom like you.
You show your love by what you do.
You've given us love that we all share.
Quietly telling us that you care.
How can I thank you for who you are.
In the darkest night the brightest star.
Can a few words say what I've known?
They love that you have always shown!
You are my mother, and to you I must say.
I love you dearly each and everyday.
Your love is there for us to trust.
But mom you really need to learn to dust.
This poem's for you and now you know it.
These words written by your son and poet.
Longfellow I'm not don't you agree?
Just a loving son is all I can be!
Love you Mom this is true.
But before this poem is through.
One last thing I'll say to you.
I Love you love you love you!
