Right from the start, I'll say that this poem,
Will touch the heart, and really hit home.
It's a short tale, about a small child.
Very sick and pale, a disease running wild.
Being crippled in the bone, this child's a gravestone.
This child seems alone, but knows love is shown.
Doesn't ask for much, a little bit of kindness,
A warm caring touch, this child is not mindless.
The reward you see, is timeless indeed.
the cost is free, just to fill the need.
A tender warm hug, perhaps a bright smile.
Be a cuddle bug, for just a while.
This poem is dedicated to a close friend. Blaize!
The Piano Man and my friend.
